According to the literature ,the research on underachievers is not adequate ,not to mention that on Chinese underachievers . Besides , studies are mainly from the perspective of psychology and general educational experiences . The causes of Chinese underachievers are complicated, inclusive of factors of students themselves , family , society , school, Chinese language curriculum and teachers etc. The transformation can not be realized overnight, and we should examine the transformation of Chinese underachievers from the points of psychology, pedagogy,sociology. This thesis confronts the subject from the perspective of Chinese language teaching practice and analyses the causes of Chinese language underachievers and puts forwards with the corresponding transformative strategies, with the hope of offering the Chinese teachers a referable perspective and being a guide and help for the practical Chinese teaching.The structure of the dissertation goes as follows:Chapterâ… is introduction , including two sections. . The former section is about the origin of study, consisting of the establishment of research project ,the significance of research and the summary of literature . The latter section is the study scheme containing the target and means of study.Chapterâ…¡is the definition of related concepts . The first section explores junior school students and the characteristics of their psychology , and the second chapter is about Chinese language underachievers ,and it discusses what study is , what Chinese language study is and what Chinese language underachievers.Chapterâ…¢deals with the analysis of the causes of Chinese junior school underachievers . The former part looks into the internal factors of Chinese language underachievers . Interior factors can be divided into individual cognitive factors and non-intellectual factors. External factors are made up of teachers curriculum and family factors .Chapterâ…£theoretically explores the transformation of Chinese junior school underachievers . The first section analyzes the enlightenment of mastering the theory of learning on the transformation of Chinese language underachievers ;the second section discusses the enlightenment of the Theory of Teacher Expectation Effect on the transformation of Chinese language underachievers . The third part analyses the enlightenment of the theory of Nearest Development Scope on the transformation of Chinese junior school underachievers . The forth section discusses the enlightenment of the theory of Self-ascription on the transformation of Chinese junior school underachievers . The fifth section looks into the enlightenment of the theory of Teaching Students in Accordance of Their Aptitude. on the transformation of Chinese junior school underachievers.Chapterâ…¤is the practical study of the transformation of junior school Chinese language underachievers. The first section discusses the relationship between the reconstruction of teacher culture and the transformation of junior school Chinese language underachievers. It contains four parts, curriculum reform and teacher culture, teacher sub-culture and student sub-culture, the growth of teacher culture , teacher culture and the transformation of Chinese language underachievers to be specific. The second section analyses the relationship between Chinese school-based curriculum and the transformation of Chinese language underachievers, including school -based Chinese curriculum on popular culture projects. the necessity of introducing popular culture into Chinese curriculum ; and the case study of school -based curriculum teaching . The third section mainly discusses the relationship of Chinese language teaching and the transformation of Chinese language underachievers, which is further divided into three parts :optimizing teaching design to improve teaching efficiency ,creating teaching situation to enhance learning interest and strengthen teaching dialogues in class to motivate students' sense of Chinese language learning .
