| Vocational schools which expand at an annual rate of one million have already become one of the most important force of Chinese education. Expansion of students will inevitably bring about the expansion of vocational teachers. It is reported that the amount of vocational teachers have to increase 100 thounsands per year to fill up the development of vocational education in recent year. For the professional teachers are the main force of the secondary vocationary school,how to manage and cultivate the stuff has turned out to be the most pratical issues and is also the reseach goal of this paper.Based on the modern human resource management theory, this paper analyzes the general problem which exist in the mangement of professional teachers. Considering the characteristcs of professional teachers, this paper proposed that in order to bring the management of vocational teachers to a brand new stage, we should use the human resource theory in the process of management.Based on the principle of "selecting, educating, and employing", the paper analyses the issue concretely and comprehensively from the four aspects, and carry out some management strategies. First, chooseing the most qualified teachers including the permenant hired teachers, part-time teachers and substitute. Second, maintain a strict standard on professional teachers' education and evaluation management. Third, to make sure that bothe the teachers training programmes both inside or outside the school have carried out their expecting effect. At last, consummating the system of encrougement of the inovation of professional teachers.In order to ensure the sustainable development of vocational education, We should build a contingent with ample number, reasonable structure, a lot of professional teachers with high level of strength and creativity , a cluster with noble morality, rigorous scholarship, high research capability and rich experience"dual-teachers"that is consisted by postgraduates, with the professional leaders as the core, with the middle-aged academic backbone as chief support. |
