Secondary vocational schools bear the important responsibility of cultivating professional skilled personnel.With continuous development,secondary vocational schools have gradually realized that the advantages in educational development are difficult to maintain for a long time.It is high-quality human resources that can truly provide the impetus for the development of secondary vocational schools.How to strengthen human resource management and improve performance has become The main problem faced by many schools.In human resource management,performance management is widely used as an important management method.For secondary professional schools,scientific and effective performance management methods are of great significance to the overall development of the school and the improvement of teachers.This thesis mainly studies the performance management of Zhengzhou Z Secondary Vocational School,and explores its existing problems,their causes and improvement measures.First,through the literature review,understand the current research status of performance management and teacher performance management at home and abroad.Secondly,consult the relevant system documents of Zhengzhou Z Secondary Vocational School’s performance management,and use the questionnaire survey method and interview method to explore the performance management problems of Zhengzhou Z Secondary Vocational School,mainly including unclear performance goals,lack of guidance in performance implementation,and defects in the performance appraisal system.Lack of communication and feedback,and formalism in assessment.The reasons for these problems mainly include insufficient understanding of performance management,lack of system supervision,lack of demonstration of the establishment of the assessment system,lack of communication and feedback mechanisms,and insufficient application of assessment results.Based on the five links of performance management,using incentive theory,the corresponding countermeasures are put forward: strengthening performance management awareness through training,implementing performance guidance with systems,optimizing performance appraisal system,improving feedback and appealing mechanism,and enriching the application of appraisal results.The purpose of this paper is to solve the problems existing in the teacher performance appraisal of Zhengzhou Z Secondary Vocational School,use the key performance indicator appraisal method to help establish a scientific and reasonable teacher performance appraisal and evaluation index system,and objectively,accurately and comprehensively appraise teachers Evaluation plays a positive role in motivating teachers to improve their work ability and promoting the overall high-quality development of the school.
