Research On The Track And Field Sports Teaching Of Fujian College Non-P.E.Major

With the implementation of the curriculum reform in "Sports and Health", there is a great change in the P.E. teaching contents and modes. The track and field sports teaching as one of the main courses in physical education now is facing the unprecedented difficulties. Therefore, the teaching reform in the college track and field sports teaching is a task which brooks no delay.Adopting the following research methods such as references, interviews, logical analysis, surveys and mathematical statistics, this paper makes a survey and analysis on the track and field sports teaching in Fujian College non-P.E. major and put forward practical and flexible reform measures. The results show that: courses for college non-P.E. major is not optimistic, the track and field teaching content is still limited to running and jumping; the teaching content is boring, the teaching methods and the test are behind the times and the pace of development; the lack of using modern teaching method which is full of fun and entertainment; the idea of cancelling the track and field class or the option to switch to the other elective courses has become the mainstream.The students are not satisfied with the present situation that the track and field course has changed from a required course to an elective course, thus we need a reform on the track and field sports teaching.To solve the problems mentioned above, the author puts forward some reform proposals. First, building up the idea of "health first" and "quality education"; second, emphasizing the teaching reform and strengthening the application of modern teaching methods; third,optimizing the teaching content of the track and field course and integrating the athletic, fitness and fun together; fourth,establishing the teaching model of the track and field course athletic clubs for the college non-P.E. major.
