The Present Situation And Development Research For Track And Field Reform Of PE Major In Jiangsu Province

Education is facing unprecedented opportunities and challenges with the perfection of socialist market economy, the speeding up of economic structure adjustment at home, the aggravation of international competition for the talents and a person's overall development. As a major part in the process of educational reform and development, physical education is a historical necessity for promoting the innovation of physical education in our country to grasp opportunities and meet challenges. It is also an assurance to quicken its reform and development.The "11th-five-year-plan" period is a crucial period for Jiangsu Province in the transformation of industrialization, the acceleration of urbanization, the perfection of marketing and the promotion and interaction of internationalization. Conflicts in higher educational institutes are becoming more and more apparent facing the 21st century social transformation in that the training objective of physical education, the mode of talent training, pedagogical contents, course system, teaching methods, etc. fall behind the developmental needs of the times.This thesis is a systematic research into the course system of track and field of physical education specialty of Jiangsu University at the beginning of the new century. By the chance of the Course Program issued for three years, on the basis of the principle of fostering comprehensive qualified personnel in physical education, the writer tries to do research into the course mode, teaching aims, teaching contents, teaching methods and evaluation reform and present conditions by using the methods of literature reviews, investigation, interview and mathematical statistics. The objects of study will be the course system of track and field of physical education majors in Jiangsu ten universities and the research will probe into the major and difficult problems appearing in the reform and development of the course of track and field. It involves the present situation of cognizing and practicing course reform, the relationship between the objective of training talents, the course mode of track and field and the course objective, the conformity of the course teaching contents, the construction of evaluation system, the use of modern teaching methods, etc.This thesis is focused on the internal development motivation and system of physical education specialty of Chinese university. Looking back on the reform course of track and field, according to Course Program and Course Outline, the author has done a thorough investigation and research and made a deep analysis into course reform in track and field in our province, and reached a series of conclusions worth referring to:1. Understand course reform and course connotation.2. Adapt to the themes of the times and clarify the course objectives.3. Build course system and conform course contents.4. Perfect teaching methods and improve evaluating ways.5. Listen to illocutionary speech attentively and promote course construction. Based on these, some relative proposals are given:1.Master education proposition and dispel reform misgivings.2. Face the differences between universities and build its own features.3. Understand sports nature and improve sports teaching materials.4. Strengthen teachers' training and ensure course construction.
