In the practice of the middle school Chinese teaching, there exists the problem of repeat and low-efficiency in the composition teaching. The teaching has no aim, no system, and without the theory to support and the students spend more time but receive less efficiency and income. With the development of the time, we need the initiative and innovative talents, and the Chinese teaching should service for this aim. However, the traditional composition teaching cannot fulfill this request, so the new composition teaching mode came into being."The-three-revise mode" of the composition made the students as the main body, made the development of the people as the center to carry out the activities. During the process of the composition topic checking, the teachers design the situation, lead the students to take part in the discussion, to express their own ideas openly, to form and develop their own thought, transfer the "passive motive" of the pointed composition to the "initiative motive" of the ideas expressing. After the thought is being formed, the teachers will give the students enough time to read and collect the materials, to further prove and improve their own ideas by collecting information.The main content of "The-three-revise mode" is use the methods of self-study, co-operation, developing evaluation to make the students as the master of the composition activities, especially the composition revise activity, and give back the students the right to revise and evaluate. Combine the students revising their composition by themselves and others with the teachers' evaluation, evaluating by multi-body in which the students can improve their construction of the knowledge, experience, and then make the full development come true.The students' initiative was improved by "The-three-revise mode" and so was the composition ability. However, limited by the teaching condition, teachers and students quality, "The-three-revise mode" comes across many difficulties and weakness which need further adjustment and development.
