Mind Map was made by Buzan T in the 1970s,who is a scholar in England.It is a method of specifying one's radioactive thinking and a key to opening one's brain potential, which can be applied in each aspect of our life.As it can better the study ability and clear modes of thinking,it would improve the learners' behavior performance.Nowadays the Mind Map theory has already been put into practice in western countries.Nevertheless,the study of the Mind Map in China just begins.The purpose of this article is to do the research of Mind Map application on the biological review to find out an available way to improve biological teaching effect in the senior high school,and to do some foundation work for the research and application of Mind Map.Ways of literature search,questionnaire,experiments etc are used in the article.In the research,the content characteristics,making steps and skills of Mind Map were introduced to students,leading students to make Mind Map and use the method to review.With the help of software,we analyzed the effect of Mind Map teaching strategy on the students' learning achievement,learning interest,as well as the level of creative thinking.We can draw some conclusions as follow when Mind Map is used in the biological review in the senior high school:1.It can help to improve the student' learning achievement.2.The learning results are different between the boys and girls.3.It can help to stimulate the students' learning interest.4.It can help to improve the students' abilities of creative thinking.
