This paper was designed to study the morphological different and similarities of Chinese youth's physical constitution by using one-way analysis of variance and multiple regression analysis. Target populations were drawn from the 2006 years of the longitudinal China Health and Nutrition Survey, comprised of 7-17 years old youth people. The data consisted of 1258 people (urban 382,rural 903; boys 603, girls 603) came from 9 provinces in China.In each subject, ten influencing factors were used for analyzing of the current status and diversities of the Chinese youth (height\BMI\upper). There included the number of children in family, the age of child-bearing, family per-capita income, domicile, completed years of father and mother's formal education, nutrition status, physical activity time, age and gender.The study mainly involved the following affects:Part one, the diversity morphology in Chinese youth. The main contents of the significant differences can be summarized as follows:the boy who is singletons comparing with who just having one sister/brother (7cm), the urban boys comprising with rural boys (7.5cm), the urban girls comparing with rural girls (3.45cm); otherwise, the mother who whether completed senior school education, it is a significant influencing factor in the diversity of youth height, especially for girls (11cm).Part two, the diversity of body type in Chinese youth. The main contents of the significant differences can be summarized as follows:the boy who is singletons comparing with who just having one sister/brother, the boys whose father completed undergraduate education comprising with whose father completed primary school education, the low level of family per-capita income comparing with high level, and the urban boys comparing with rural boys. Part three, the diversity of physique in Chinese youth. The main contents of the significant differences can be summarized as follows:the boy who is singletons comparing with who just having one sister/brother, the boys whose father completed junior education comprising with whose father completed primary school education, the girls whose mother completed junior education comprising with whose mother completed primary school education, the urban boys comparing with rural boys.Part four, the main influencing factors for the diversity of youth morphology. For boys: the determining factors are expenses in (by sort) age, completed years of father's formal education, nutrition status, completed years of mother's formal education and physical activity time. For girls: (by sort) age, completed years of mother's formal education.Part five, the main influencing factors for the change of body type of youth. For boys: the determining factors are expenses in (by sort) age, family per-capita income, the number of children in family and nutrient status.Part six, the main influencing factors for the change of youth physique. For boys'upper arm circumference, the determining factors are expenses in (by sort) age,completed years of mother's formal education and nutrient status; Otherwise, the determining factors for their tricep skin fold are: age, completed years of father's formal education and the number of children in family. In addition, for girls'upper arm circumference, the determining factors are expenses in (by sort) age and completed years of mother's formal education, the determining factors for their tricep skin fold: age, physical activity time and the number of children in family.The end, part seven gives several advices to improve the physical constitution of Chinese youth: improving youth people's physical activity time, living level, nutrition knowledge and parent's educational level (especially for mother whose educational level under junior school education) can contribute successfully to the physical constitution of Chinese youth.
