Analysis And Research On The Urban Residents' Subjective Well-being

With the development of economic and rising living standard,Increasing income can no longer satisfy residents' happiness index.They always compare their living status and surrounding environment.This study introduces subjective satisfaction and make a more comprehensive and objective analysis of the influence on the subjective well-being(SWB).According to the data of Chinese general social survey(CGSS)in 2013,the paper studies the relationship between income,social capital,health,subjective satisfaction between with well-being of urban residents.First of all,This study put the relative index into the model and though the KMO test research the relative variables.And then,PCA was used to reduce the dimension of data and eliminate the total line.Finally,hierarchical regression model was conducted obtain the conclusion.This text from the view of the mechanism of subjective well-being,the variables such as income,health,social capital and subjective satisfaction are introduced to establish the model and carry out regression analysis on the basis of control variables.The result shows that:income,health,social capital,subjective satisfaction and urban residents well-being are correlated at the present stage,the income increases the adjusted multiple coefficient of determination by 60%.The degree of fitting increased by 1.75 times after adding the health variable.However,after adding the social capital in the model was found no significant difference.Finally,the fitting degree of the fifth model was improved from 0.138 to 0.191 after adding the subjective satisfaction,It shows that health has the most obvious influence on subjective well-being,the degree of social capital makes limited influence,and the degree of subjective satisfaction has very significant influence.At the same time,education level and social capital have some interactive effects on well-being in control variables.From the result,it can be concluded that:the urban residents feel better on their physically conditions,their own happiness will be stronger.The government should increase social trust to increase the subjective well-being of urban residents by cultivating of social capital;in this condition subjective satisfaction has the same increase proportion with income or even has greater growth rate than the capital income,the growth of wealth does not have positive impact on people's happiness.
