Teaching writing is one of the critical parts of English teaching in senior high school. The research integrates situational teaching with English teaching in senior high school. By combing and analyzing the visible literature, the research jumps to the conclusion that situational teaching of English writing in senior high school is conscientiously and feasible, and it is an effective teaching method that can give right expression to the conception of curriculum reform in senior high school.The research tries to integrate theoretical research and case analyze through the way of analyzing literature, introducing teaching cases, observing classroom teaching and communicating with students and teachers in senior high school. The research holds the intention of situational teaching of English writing as the beginning of analyzing, and takes Structuralism, principle of situational cognition, etc. as the rationales. It refines on the main characteristics, basic destinations and principles in detail. It shows clear pictures of the roles of students and teacher and the relationship of them. It talks about the particularity of teaching writing among the whole English teaching in senior high school, represents the practical significance of situational teaching of English writing, comes up with the ways of creating and establishing the writing situation, and furthermore brings up the issue that how to push situational teaching of English writing into practice. The issue is mainly on the basis of two modes: problem-solving and group-cooperating. The research introduces these two modes by using concrete teaching cases. The research finally illustrates some suggestions that how to reinforce situational teaching of English writing from three levels.The research leads situational teaching into teaching of English writing and tries to do some proper integration between them, which provides a new and distinctive angle of view to the research of teaching of English writing in senior high school, and expands the theoretical research on teaching of English writing. Meanwhile, the execution of situational teaching of English writing can arouse students' interest of writing, raise students' level of writing, and promote students' individual development. It can also get up teacher's consciousness of teaching reform; improve teacher's teaching ability and foster teacher's professional growth and development. Additionally, situational teaching of English writing is one of the realistic needs to deepen the reform of English teaching and carry out English curriculum standard efficiently.
