Because of the influence of the exam oriented education, the traditional teaching mode is not in the essence of the traditional teaching mode, and it has not provided a clear help to the practical application of the students. The rise of the domestic English education reform, prompting the school teachers to apply a new teaching mode, the students’ learning interest in the transfer, in a relaxed atmosphere to improve students’ performance, thus can be seen, the situation in high school English teaching is particularly far-reaching influence. With the development of new teaching reform, situational teaching has great significance for English Teaching in senior high school. It can make the students more vivid and easy to understand and memory, so it can greatly stimulate students’ interest in learning English. In this scene simulation teaching can make every student have a relaxed and happy mood, breaking the original classroom in old-fashioned and boring classroom atmosphere. Based on the current senior high school students’ English teaching syllabus, the paper takes the traditional English teaching effect as the comparison object. On the basis of the relevant theoretical knowledge of pedagogy, psychology and so on, the situation teaching method is used to hold English teaching.This paper is a total of six, the introduction of the first chapter, the main introduction of the research background and research purposes; the second chapter: the situation and context as a starting point, combined with the relevant domestic and foreign research results, the English situational teaching method. The third chapter mainly shows the importance of situational teaching method in English Teaching in senior high schools in China. The fourth chapter: the combination of high school English teaching situation, analysis of the current situation of the use of situational teaching method and the way. In the fifth chapter, select the appropriate senior high school students’ experiment, and finally verify the effectiveness of the situation teaching method through the test and the questionnaire survey. The sixth chapter is the conclusion.
