The Structure Of Coping Strategies For Lovelorn And The Relationship Of Love Values Of The Undergraduates

Love as the intimate relationship has special psychological meaning for the youth's, which can satisfy undergraduates adscription and love,self-worth and so on. Now that love is so significant, lovelorn has becalmed the most brittle token. The coping strategies for lovelorn distinct reflect the psychological and behavioral actuality, the research for guiding the undergraduates how to love,how to face lovelorn have academic and practical meaning. The research of the relationship between the love values and coping strategies for lovelorn can guide the love values of the undergraduates correctly to change the coping strategies for lovelorn.This research based on summarizing the documents, investigating of open-ended questionnaire, individual interviewing and discussing with psychology experts, the theory hypothesis was constructed. By the factor analysis of the preliminary questionnaire. According to it, the study designed the formal questionnaire of the coping strategies for lovelorn of the undergraduates. 989 undergraduates were investigated through the formal questionnaire. And then we tested the structure of the coping strategies for lovelorn by structural equation model. At last, I investigated the relationship between the love values and coping strategies for lovelorn. The main results of this study were as following:1. The coping strategies for lovelorn are made of assaulting,indulging,searching substitute,catharsis,cognition rebuilding,evading. The self-made questionnaire of this study was entirely accord with the request of psychometrics. This questionnaire has good reliability and validity.2. As a whole, the six dimensions in the average from highest to lowest are assaulting behavior,cognition rebuilding,indulging,searching substitute,catharsis, evading. Which indicate undergraduates use the immature coping strategy when they depart with their lovers. After three months, injury of lovelorn will cicatrize obviously.3. When the characteristics are sex,major,grade,lovelorn times,lovelorn of the last time,lovelorn mode,the coping strategies for lovelorn of the undergraduates have distinct differences;4. There exist distinct close relationship between the love values and the coping strategies for lovelorn of the undergraduates. The most dimensions of love values can strongly forecast the most coping strategies of lovelorn. When the love value of the undergraduates is eroticism, they don't use cognition rebuilding, but use assaulting behavior,indulging,searching substitute and evading more; When the love value of the undergraduates is utilitarian, they Use all coping strategies except cognition rebuilding; When the love value of the undergraduates is romanticism, they use all coping strategies; when the love value of the undergraduates is dedication, they don't use assaulting behavior,evading, cognition rebuilding, but use indulging,searching substitute,catharsis,and cognition rebuilding.
