Since 20th century 90's,The Teacher Professional Development has been brought into horizon of the policy in many countries.The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching and The Holmes Group in America put forward two reports:《A Nation Prepared:Teachers for 21 Century》and《A Nation at Risk:The Imperative for Educational Reform》early or late in 1986.The reports illustrated the concept of the teacher professionalism,and protest that establishing the station of the teachers.How to acquire the professional development to the most exent has been surround to process in many researches and reforms in later.The Britain standard Foundation of Education and The Britain teachers office of teaching passed the Standards of Initial teacher training to ensure the quality of teachers in 2002.It pay attention to establish the relationship of University-school bewteen Britain and America.This thesis makes a comparative study of the two university-school initial teacher training models between Britain and Ameriea analyses the general and specific characteristics of the two models,summarizes experiences and brings forth some problems and tries to discuss developmental laws of university-school collaborative partnership,so as to offer some references to ours.The full text is divided into the following five parts:Part One:This part is mainly about the significance and methods of the study and the definitions of collaboration and university-school Partnership.Part Two:Britain model of university-school initial teacher training:School-based Initial Teacher Training and America model of university-school initial teacher training:Professional Development School.This Part inquires into the background,theoretical base operational Proeess,effeets and problems of the two models.Part three:Comparison and analysis of university-school initial teaeher training models between Britain and Ameriea.This part mainly makes a comparison of the two models and points out some differences and similarities between them.Part four:Based on above,the text analysis the reasons that made the two models difference.And sununafized some general laws of influence factors on university-school partnership.Part five:Enlightenment and Reference.On the basis of the comparison in the part three and four,the author points out the problems of isolation between university and school in initial teacher edueation in China and briefly introduces the reform of Teaeher Development School.In the end,some proposals are Put forward for establishing university-school partnership in China based on analysis of some difficulties and obstacles in China.
