A Study On University Culture Construction Since The Foundation Of P.R.China

The university culture is the core factor for a university which is also the key point of building an international high standard university.Construction of university culture is the strategic working of building a creative modern university;it works both with the macroscopically direction and the sub atomic realistic meanings.This article used historical research method,started with the university culture construction since our country founded,to deeply analysis the discipline of university culture construction since country founded,summarized the construction experiences of our country's university culture,combined with the current situation we proposed a countermeasure for dealing with our construction of university culture.The conception and some related theories of university culture are studied at the beginning.It is thought to be the combination of material culture and the mental culture after a long period under the influence of history.It lies in the energy,cohesion and appeal.And it consists of material culture,sprit culture and institution culture.However,the paper describes the process of the establishment of university culture in our country since the found of the People's Republic of China.Based on this,it analyzes the basic law and the characteristics of the university culture construction.It is necessary to develop the university culture depending on the economy.The university culture went through a long process from subconscious construction to consciousness construction and it always puts emphasis on the material culture. Thus,it results in the transform from the government to the society.In the end,it offers the method to solve the problem according to the shortcoming in the university culture, ultitarianism and pragmatism;the incompletement of the staff.In order to improve the University Culture Construction,the government should support it,while the university should insist on the characteristics of the culture.The aim of training students shout be based on the students so that a free academics atmosphere can exist and a good assessment for the staff of teachers.In fact,the spirit culture should be emphasized in the process of the construction of material environment and complete the internal management mechanism.All in all,with the developing of the higher education,the University Culture Construction is supposed to deeply improve.
