The Analysis Of Basketball Current Situation Of College Students Of Non-sports Major In Shandong Province

Basketball ,which is popularized in the university of Shandong province,becomes the favorite sport of non-sports major students by its charm.Since the implement of《Teaching Guidance of P.E. Curriculum in college nationwide》in 2002,the basketball playing for non-sports major students has gradually steped into right path.It palys a great role in promoting the development of college sports,enriching the campus life ,improving the overall quality of students,pushing forward the popularization of basketball.However,there is some problems which hiders the basketball from popularization .Therefore,in order to promote the basketball to step into right path ,we have to strengthen the scientific research and guide the practice.In this paper ,we investigate the present situation and problem of public P.E. Curriculum,out-class basketball , basketball corporation, basketball consumption,teachers of P.E. Curriculum and basketball playground using literature consultation, specialist interview, questionnaire, mathematical statistics, comparison and analysis.What's more ,we put forward the countermeasures and suggestions.According to the situation of new curriculum reform,it is suggested that the basketball playing for non-sports major students should develop deeply,healthily and orderly.From this investigation,we draw the conclusions as follows:1.College in Shandong put emphasis on the teaching of public P.E. Curriculum,with the guidance of teaching material,which includes'Mordern college P.E. Curriculum'and oneself -revised teaching materials of public P.E. Curriculum.But the utilization ratio of these material is very low ,especially for girls. 2. The course-completion evaluation ,which is not accorded to contents of examination,ignore the individual difference,and hamper the popularization and development of basketball.3.Owing to spontaneousness ,although the basketball corporation is strong ,there usually happends disharmonious things.4.Most of the teachers are young and middle-aged ,and their age structure is rational.They have good professional technique and tactical ability,and are suitable for the teaching.However ,the sex ratio is not reasonable for the female is fewer.Most of them are undergraduates and master is few .So ,the intellectual structure remains to improve.Besides this ,because of the weakness of scientific research consciousness, they don't combinine teaching training with scientific research ability well.And 46.67% of teachers have never had relative training for professional ability,going against for the improvement of teaching.5.The apparatus on the playground could basically meet the demands of teaching.But in the out-class basketball activy,the playground is not enough.Moreover,it is difficult for non-sports major students entering indoor basketball gym,which is usually offered to the school team,leading to resource wasting.
