Chinese is a subjecct which combines instrument and humanity. The definition indicates that Chinese teaching should care about not only students'konwledge, but also their emotion, thought, spirit, and soal. As a result of studens'diversity and immaturity, there must be lots of different personalities and unsatisfactorineses in their studying , living and thinking. Based on these differences and shortcomings, this article puts forward a concept of Tolerence Education.Tolerance Education is established on the base of pedagogy and psychology and it's essence is love. It respects the students'diversities, understands the students'personalities and weaknesses. That is to say, in the light of the personal diversities, immaturity and development of the students,according to the characteristics of the bidirectional interaction of the education and in terms of the educators, Tolerance education is a kind of love education.It's an education that leads educators to bring love and education into concretion by showing tolerance to others. In terms of the students, it is an education that holds the idea that"I am different from the others, despite of some weekness,I can do better."It can make the students release their personalities, correct their defects to gain their confidence and make progress in the process of being tolerated. That is to say, Tolerance Education is a mathod of education which should be based on the concern and the respect of the divesities between students. In order to realize it, a democratic and equal teacher-student relation should be established; a relaxed and harmonious atmosphere of education founded, and an open and polybasic education brought into effect. We educators also have to forgive the insufficiency different ideas of students by heart, and stimulate their consciousness to be the main part. So that they can change their shortcomings, build confidence and develop themselves positively and actively.Tolerance Education is not only a concept of education, but also an approach. As the former, it refers to the tolerance notion and attitude of teacher to their students. As the latter, it is a concret method that the educators put their love and respect for the students into the feelings which their students can experience by themselves. The article tries to study the issue—Tolerance Education from theory and practice. It uses relevant reseach achievements for reference and is based on Chinese teaching reality.The whole article is divided into four parts :PartⅠ:The explanation for Tolerance Education in Chinese teaching. This part gives a defination of Tolerance Education and analyses the differences between Tolerance Education and other education models. Also, it defines Tolerance Education in Chinese teaching and points out the basis of implementing Tolerant Education theory in Chinese teaching.PartⅡ:The meaning of Tolerance Education in Chinese teaching. This part analyses Tolerance Education's beneficial influence on teacher—student relationship, implementation of the New Curriulumn Standard and the students, emotional development and knowledge abilities. And it expounds the necessity of implementing Tolerance Education.PartⅢ: The principle of Tolerance Education in Chinese teaching. In this part, the principle that should be followed is put forward to from concept,class teaching and evaluation. Meanwhile, it is pointed out that Tolerance Education is not the only way to solve all the problems. The moderate principle of Tolerance should be put into effect.PartⅣ: The style of Tolerance Education in Chinese teaching. This segment can be analysed from two aspects combined with the principle of Tolerance Education and the law of Chinese teaching. On the one hand, the Tolerance Education should be practised aiming at the individual of students from different levels and angles. On the other hand, the diversities and main position of students are ought to be respected designed for the entire teaching and the essence of Chinese teaching and it should come into effect at different stages of teaching process.
