With forgiveness psychology coming into the view of psychology study, the study of forgiveness has become fairly effective in psychology. Since 1980s, forgiveness theory has been developing continuously and it is not only applied into psychology, but also applied to clinic medicine and the study of social problems. In recent years, politics studies, management studies and many more studies have shown great interests in it. This essay tries to adopt the forgiveness theory to guide political and ideological education. The political and ideological education for university students is to cultivate them to be the main body in historical activities by mental communicating between the subject and object to lead the educatee to be pure and simple. As we all know that the aim of moral education is human- oriented. In this period, the students are developing fast physically and mentally, getting close to a mature stage. Their self-conscience develops fast too. It is inevitable to have false ideas or commit some faults. As a moral educator, it is necessary to face their physical and mental characters and treat them with tolerance to create a tolerant and free space for them to develop, leading them to fully recognize themselves ,improve their personality, pursue their dream and enhance their mental status and form their own lifestyle.In regard to the above, I would like to start with forgiveness and choose the theme—Tolerance Moral Education for Colleage Students, in order to create a new angle for moral education. This essay contains four parts:Part One is the understanding of forgiveness. In this part, we will try to start from the forgiveness theory and analyze its characters and connotation and then set a reasonable position for the forgiveness category in moral education of colleage students by using philosophical methodology and epistemology and anthroposophy.Part Two is suspecting for the shortage of forgiveness in university moral education. In this part, this sort of shortage will be reflected in conscience, behavior, systems, and the university' s atmosphere. At the same time, I try to find the origin of the problem such as the influence of traditional custom of respecting the teachers, the cruel shock of modern society, and the conflict between theory and practice.Part Three is about the establishment of forgiveness education in university. We built the character forgiveness education, based on the above problems and causes, which consists of "the talk, the differences, overact ion, shortness" ; the mental forgiveness education centered by tolerance and forgiveness; the moral forgiveness education base on the laws; and the psychology forgiveness aimed at harmonious characters.Part Four is exploration into the principles and ways of teaching the college students how to forgive - we call it "Forgiveness Education". It is established in this chapter that " Forgiveness Education " should be, on the premise of equality, based on love and care with a bottom line that should not be crossed. This chapter has discussed the new ways of "Forgiveness Education" from several aspects, including new ways of thinking, new methods and new mode of teacher-student relations.
