Recently,students tend to take less interests in learning volleyball,which results in the lack of their commitment in learning and a dissatisfied teaching result.It has been found that they have the tendency to participate in volleyball games much less than before.In searching for the best cooperative learning methods,the writer attempts to introduce the cooperative teaching methods into the teaching of basic techniques so that the existed problem can be solved in volleyball class. By using this method,students can not only learn all the basic techniques systematically,and they can also be able to enjoy and love sports.Their joy can also be extended after class.Cooperative Study is conducted on the basis of psychology,sociology and advanced educational techniques.Based on the study and applicationof the interrelationship in class,it has the objectives as the priority;the cooperations between students and between students and the teacher as the fundamental push;the group work as the basic teaching method;the team performance as the evaluation standard,this theory aimsat upgrading the achievements of students and the social and psychological atmophere in class.It is a creative and practical thoery with the purpose of improve the social skills and good character. Nowadays,it is considered "the most important and most successful teaching reform in the past decade."The writer bases this experimental study on the scientific materialism,the cognitive psychology and modern psychology.The theories of educational sociology and modern educational technology serves as the base for further research.Methods such as documentary collection,counseling,questionaires,and experiments have been applied in this study.The teaching of experimental group applies the cooperative theory;while the other group still retain the traditional teaching methods.After the experiment is finished and the statistical analysis of the final skills of the two groups,it has been found that the experimental group has performed much better than the other group.The big gap between them provided some evidences for the conclusion.In addition,according to the investigation of the attendance rate,attitudes of learning and frequency of participating in volleyball after class,an analysis on the experimental result has been reached, thus the following conclusions have been drawn:1.It leads to plenty of positive results,such as a higher attendence,greater interests and better attitudes of students,more obvious effects and encouraging more participations after class.2.It has many advantages over the traditional methods,which is more efficient with the same content and schedule of classes.3.Cooperative Study is proved more effective and properer for the teaching of basic techniques of volleyball in Institute of disaster-prevention science and technology.
