Junior middle school girls don’t want to participate in too intense physical activities and generate a common phenomena of low psychological motivation when their physical inertness are gradually enhanced after they enter adolescence. Taking Suzhou Zhenhua middle school girl students as subjects, this article focus on the experimental research of the comparison between the balloon volleyball and hard volleyball by adopting the method of literature study, psychological scale measurement method, experimental method, questionnaire survey method and mathematical statistics. The purpose is to discuss whether the balloon volleyball has a positive influence on the junior middle school girls’ sports interests and whether the skills of the balloon volleyball has a positive transfer value towards the skills of the hard volleyball via observing how junior middle school female freshmen’s sports interests changes under different teaching conditions.The research results show that:after the teaching experiment of using the balloon volleyball, the experimental group has a higher physical situation interest score in each dimensionality and shows a significant difference. The manifestation of their overall interests, sense of joy and novelty is obvious. The overall interest of the balloon Volleyball practice among students was significantly higher than that of hard volleyball; therefore the teaching of the balloon volleyball is more helpful in cultivating students’sports interest. The playing of the balloon volleyball is safer and easier to learn, which means the encouragement of the students’ sports interest is simpler and can gain the students’ preference. So it is suitable to be carried out among the junior middle school female freshmen. The learning of the balloon volleyball skills has a positive transfer towards the learning of hard volleyball skills. There is a clearer positive transfer in digging and serve than passing. Recommendations:Introduce the balloon Volleyball games into junior middle school sports teaching syllabus to generalize the balloon volleyball movement among junior middle school girls. Junior middle schools should hold regular balloon volleyball competitions to improve the campus atmosphere of balloon Volleyball games. During the teaching course of the balloon volleyball, teachers can add the content of hard volleyball training properly to make up the deficiency of the transfer of the passing skill. According to teaching materialization of sports theory, the teaching materialization of hard volleyball can be reflected by the teaching model of the balloon volleyball.In this way the students’ interests can be inspired while the teaching material is also enriched.
