Community Sports Risk Management

With the 2008 Olympic Games' coming,all the nations take an active part in all kinds of sports.Based on the community,more and more citizens go in for the sports either individually or collectively.As the sports' high risk and high antagonism,some unexpected factors may appear when the citizens are on the sports.And some unexpected matters often occur when the sports are going on because of these factors.So when the risk appears,who will respond it is the matter that people care.After checking some information about risk management and community sports,reviewing some communities and talking with some persons related to the community sports,this paper has the contents,including the definition,characteristic and sort of the community sports;risk factors; risk types;risk results;personnel risk;facility risk;law responsibility and the method of transferring risk when dealing with the community sports risk;and dealing with the community sports risk.With the research result,this paper made the conclusions as follows:1.Because of the necessity of community sports' existence,and the results from risk,to manage the community sports risk is a must,and the effective risk management is based on the fully understanding of each kind of concrete risk.2.According to the analysis,we know that community sports risk includes personnel risk,facility risk and the community sports sorts risk.3.There are four options available to treat community sports risk: reduction,retention,avoidance and transference.4.For the unexpected that may appear in the community sports,this paper analyzes the ascription of the law responsibility to the accident in sports.Usually it includes the fault of organizer,the risk in the participant's bearing willingly and the fault of the participant himself.5.Though the sports insurance appeared recently in China and it developed a little slowly,it is an effective way to transfer the risks,and it is playing an important part in sports risk management.
