Study On Risk Evaluation And Risk Prevention For Comprehensive Sports Events In China

The CPC and national leaders represented by President Xi(Jinping)have attached great importance to the development of sports.In order to improve the reputation and deepen the international influence of China,many large-scale sports events have been held to stimulate the economic development in some areas,creating enriched cultural environment for sports.However,sports events are likely to be influenced by weather and human factor as well as risks during organization and conduction.Thus,facing and preventing the risks in contemporary comprehensive sports events has become an increasing concern in the field.The research object of this paper is comprehensive sports events in China.Taking the 13 th National Student Games in Hangzhou as an example,this paper examines the risks in its organization,operation,competition and after-competition stage by those methods such as documents,experts inquiry and model analysis.This paper also proposes solutions and prevention methods targeting on the appeared risks,and provides suggestions for the 14 th National Student Games in Qingdao in 2020.First of all,this paper introduces the reasons,research methods,research purposes and research significance of studying the risks of comprehensive sports events in China,and reviews literatures published across the world.On this basis,it discusses the characteristics,impact and operation process of comprehensive sports events.Then it builds a foundation for follow-up risk identification and evaluation by introducing basic situations of the event with the help of the SWOT(Strengths Weaknesses Opportunities Threats)analysis.This paper also identifies the risks faced by the 13 thNational Student Games at various stages by using WBS-RBS risk identification matrix,and uses RAC method to rank the results and forms the risk assessment checklist.By proposing solutions for these risks in various levels in the list,the risk prevention ability in comprehensive sports events in China can be strengthened.Finally,combining with the natural geographical feature of Qingdao,this paper aims to contribute to the conduction of the 14 th National Student Games in Qingdao in 2020 by improving risk management systems and mechanisms,enhancing risk identification and assessment methods and completing dynamic monitoring.
