With the coming era of higher education popularizing in China,the quality of college and university teachers have developed rapidly and the number of women teachers increasing more and more year by year constituting high proportion of college and university teachers nationwide contribute to the reform and establishment of the colleges and universities, which cannot be understated.However,the overall career development for the college and university teachers,exists a big gap in contrast with the developed countries.Furthermore,there is a deficiency for the research on the theory of human resources management for the college and university teachers and the research on the women teachers,this special group whose number is almost half of the total college and university teachers could not meet the demand of educational development.The two factors mentioned above are the major obstruction for the further development of higher education in our country.Therefore, on the one hand,the research on the career development of the women teachers is of important practical value not only to the development and growth of themselves but also to the overall need for the development of the colleges and universities.Meanwhile,since they are the models who dedicated themselves to the women liberalization and human equality, their career achievements has a good leading example to the whole society and a good guidance for elevating the women status and further pushing forward the development of women cause.On the other hand,the research has an important theoretic meaning to greatly fulfill the theory research on human resources in colleges and universities and on development and management for women human resources.The thesis tries to build on the relevant statistical data of the women career development in colleges and universities and questionnaire targeting on the women teachers in part of Hunan Province,exploring the factor which influence their career development and making suggestions in a specific and directed way of giving ways for achieving their career development for promoting women teachers career development so as to be of a reference to the women development for their career in colleges and universities of our country.
