In the Universal mother- tongue textbooks, the training system is the indispensable important component of the Chinese textbooks, embodying not only the value direction and characteristics of the Chinese textbooks but the educational and teaching philosophies of their editors. The paper is based on the literary textbook The American Experience which is published by Burang Teece. Hall company( its arrangement order is nearly the same as American Language- Digest of US Famous Middle school Texts which is compiled by Ma Haolan and published by Tongxin Press ) , the language textbook writing and Grammar: The Exchange Practice and the Chinese experimental textbook of senior middle school which is based on Chinese curriculum criterion (which will hereafter referred as the Jiangsu Education Edition),carrying on the experimental comparative analysis to the textbook's training design.The research ideas in this thesis can be expressed as:First, from a macro overview, this thesis summarizes the training system's content of the Sino-US mother tongue teaching materials, revealing the different characteristics of them; from micro-focus way, this thesis chooses the same article's training design from Sino-US mother tongue textbooks and the writing training of the similar subject to carry on the case comparison. Through the comparative analysis on the concrete aspects, the paper discusses the theory support of these content establishment. Second, Theoretical thought on the Sino-US training design of the Middle school mother tongue textbook. The paper explains this from the Constructivist learning theory, cognitive psychology, knowledge theory, dialogue theory and so onThird, reflections and inspirations. According to these analyses, we know that the training should be designed to focus on raising student's creative thinking ability, being student-centered and presenting the multiplication. In addition, when we design these trainings, we must pay attention to its interest, maneuverability, diversity and modernization.
