The textbook edited by the Ministry officially came into use in September 2017.It has been published for a relatively short time.Scholars have studied the compiling concept and overall characteristics.However,there are few studies on the single module such as text selection and unit setting directly,and even less on the comparison with the textbook edited by the Soviet Union Educational Press.Therefore,this paper chooses the textbooks compiled by the Ministry as the research object,and compares them with the textbooks published by the Soviet Union Educational Press.It makes a comparative study of the two textbooks from six aspects:the content of the selected texts,the unit structure,the teaching of writing,the reading of the texts,the assisted reading system,the comprehensive learning and oral communication.The purpose of analyzing the two editions of textbooks is to explore the outstanding features of the new textbooks(edited by departments)compared with the old ones(edited by Jiangsu Educational Press).By using the method of comparison and demonstration,this paper first expounds the features of the textbooks edited by the Soviet Educational Press in six aspects,such as text content and unit structure,and compares them with the textbooks edited by the Soviet Educational Press,finds out the differences between the textbooks edited by the Soviet Educational Press and the textbooks edited by the Soviet Educational Press,finally determines the characteristics of the text The introduction part clarifies the background,origin and significance of the topic selection,and analyzes the research status of the comparison between the textbooks edited by the Ministry and those edited by the Soviet Educational Press.The main part of this paper is divided into six chapters,starting from the specific teaching material setting module,each chapter is divided into two to three parts,focusing on the class classification,unit theme setting,reading method,annotation content,prompt setting,oral teaching proportion and so on,and comparing the two textbooks in detail to get the textbook edited The features of the course are:high degree of distinction between teaching and reading and self-reading,reasonable setting of knowledge points reflecting core literacy,and return to "rightness" in selecting texts;clear plate setting,implicit clues of unit themes;setting of writing themes to take care of teaching order and gradient of difficulty;specific formulation of reading methods,emphasis on extracurricular reading,and introduction methods.There are many kinds of reading aids,such as unit introduction,side comment,and blank filling,which are innovative,detailed and detailed in reading requirements and annotations;reduce the number of comprehensive studies but strengthen the theme cohesion;cancel the independent oral teaching board and integrate it into the exercises,comprehensive learning and writing teaching.In order to make better use of the textbook and adapt to the characteristics of the textbook,this paper puts forward some suggestions on the use of the textbook,hoping to provide some help for thefront-line teachers.Finally,the conclusion is summarized in the conclusion.
