The Influences Of Information Technology On Community Services

With the gradual improvement of people's living standards, community residents'need for community services has become diverse.The key to building a community public service system fitting in with demands of the new era is to realize the important role of IT in improving the community service quality and to select the right breakthrough. It is of practical use to research into the inherent mechanism and deep causes of IT's influences on community service quality, for it can provide the theory for informationization in community service.The thesis begins with the introduction to some relevant concepts of community service and service quality, and then focuses on"the five dimensions of service quality". It analyzes the IT's influences on community service quality by summarizing the process of informationization in Nanhu District Jiaxing City and its main problems. Through the results of analyzing some cases, it tries to develop some theories on the inherent mechanism of IT influences. It analyzes the possibilities of improving the IT application in community service, depending in the present situations. Finally, it tries to put forward some suggestions and measures on promoting community service through informationization.
