Ideological And Political Education Of United States And Its Enlightenments

The history of ideological and political education of American has more than two hundred years. The thesis studies ideological and political education of American universities from two perspectives. One is horizontal, the other is vertical. The thesis explores the history of ideological and political education in American from vertical perspective. The contents, ways and methods of the ideological and political education in contemporary American universities are analyzed from horizontal perspective. The ideological and political education in the United States, as an important part of American cultural and education has many functions. Firstly, it trains qualified American citizens. Then, it cultivates modern high-quality personnel and achieves good results in practice. It is necessary to learn American advantage and avoid its disadvantage.
