From Discipline To Liberation

The phenomenon of "faking,overstating and meaningless narrating" in the students' compositions has been very serious in recent years.The compositions full of insincere words, fabricating lies,hypocritical emotion is already more than one case.Many students have lost the ability to learn the world by their innocent hearts and to think the life by their own heads. Most of the researchers in the field of the composition like to ascribe the phenomenon to the students' lack of life experience, innovating consciousness and suspecting spirit,etc.,but they don' t detect the further backside reasons.This thesis aims to the further exploration of the student' s compositions which cannot deliver the students' real ideas.The first chapter of this thesis introduces the actuality of the students' compositions,then discloses the deceitful phenomenon in the theme-presenting,material-selecting,emotion-expressing and writing progress.The second chapter deals with the discipline in the students' life,writing emotion and writing conception from the visual angle of microcosmic power.The writing subjects trained purposely think that the criterion to value a composition is "right",i.e.some kinds of "reasonable viewpoint","legal regulations",rather than "real cognition" and "pure-hearted communication",which results in the dishonest compositions.The third chapter talks esthetically about the connotation of the honest expressing through the composition,subjects and methodology,then bring forward the direction in writing.The fourth chapter illustrates that the way to break the limits of discipline is the liberation of the students,i.e.getting rid of the old educational model, establishing an educational environment of multi-value, democracy and tolerance,cultivating the innovating consciousness and suspecting spirit,which helps to construct the strategy of honest expressing.Only when the education have been liberated from the discipline can the students reach the real cognition and sincere communication in their writing,can the composition illuminate the students' life,and can the spring come to the writing.
