Today, the art lesson has become a basic class in middle schools. It is one of the most important parts set in middle schools to develop quality education completely, which plays a certain part in the education in common middle schools, which nothing can take the place in the function of judging what beauty is. However, the survey from some students'parents shows: students as well as their parents haven't paid enough attention to the art lesson. Of course, the main reason is from the society, but we art teachers have unshifted blame. Saying fairly, despite of the external cause, the position of the art lesson has a great connection with our teachers'vocational accomplishment and the standard of knowledge. The developing standard of art subject depends on the mental state of the teacher contingent. We art teachers won't keep pace with the society if we don't exert pressure on ourselves and"charge"in time. In the school system, art education is completed by one and one classes. The number and frequency of"good classes"directly reflect the quality and the standard of the art education, they also show the function of the development of the students that art education acts to. From the survey of some middle school students and primary pupils we know: facing the situation of quality education, we teachers thirst to re-change our theories, to improve the capabilities changing the knowledge into wisdom, changing the theories into methods. We need to heighten our consciousness of understanding the students, to promote the development of their morality, their knowledge and their individuality. Giving each art class a good one is our pursuit and is also what our students expect, especially in recent years. Many teachers have organized together to discuss the real meaning of a"good class"in quiet a few places. There we have some certain standards to appraise a"good class". Following the standards, teachers can pursue and appraise a"good class".So with the help of experts, we commonly list some standards of"good classes"for us teachers to refer to. According to the"good class"standards from our experts and the experience of our teachers, in order to give a good art class, we need to deal with three key points: to communicate with our students, to optimize the class and to re-examine ourselves after class.Why are 70% of the mistakes made in class by the teachers who are not good at communicating? We say, one main reason is that they think of the communication too narrow. Many teachers can't realize it. They are afraid of giving lectures in front of the students, afraid of communicating with the students and even don't what to do in class. The more we teachers do so, the less the students care about the class, the more often they don't listen to us teachers or co-operate with us. They quarrel with teachers then we can't go on with our lectures. So it is a basic condition to set up a good relationship between us teachers and the students so as to have good art class."Learning how to stay together"is one of the most fundamental requests for modern people.Next, to optimize each art class is the key to give a good art class."Optimize class"means we teachers must use the shortest time to achieve the best result in limited class. Today, the students have too much work to do. They have to learn all the subjects. So it is very necessary to optimize the classes in order to get good achievement. In recent years, we have set up new ideas about the new curriculum through all kinds of training and researches. They practice teaching so successfully that the quality of art class has become higher and higher. A lot of teachers have taken an active part in practicing new curriculums, and have achieved surprising results. However, we also find some deviations and problems in these new attempts. They are worth thinking over.Thirdly, to re-examine ourselves. The re-examination of teaching is an important part of teaching activities. It goes through the whole class. Re-examination is an active, continuous, thorough, deep and self-regulating thinking, which we teachers, with the support of re-examining tendentious, take in order to achieve effective education, which is about past-going or on-going teaching activities as well as the theories and hypothesizes behind them. Teaching re-examination is a process, in which we can find problems and clearly explain the problems we meet with, and actively seek for kinds of methods to solve them. We can help our teachers to use it elastically. Through the study of what teaching and studying re-examination is, now we should re-examine the problems appearing in class so that we can heighten our teaching quality.
