The Research For The Current Situation And The Improvement Strategy For Quality Of Dissertation For M.E.

As our economy is developing with a high speed, there appears an urgent for high quality people. Graduate education also has a vigorous development. Master education is a bridge between undergraduate and postgraduate education. It also serves as a foundation and key for training people of high quality. However, With the expansion of postgraduate education, there appears contradictions between quality and quantity.The quality of dissertation for master degree is an important criterion to measure the quality of graduate education. How to improve the quality of dissertation for master degree is important to improve the quality of graduate education. So the author hope to analyze the problems existed in dissertation for M.E., probe into their reasons, try to find out the strategy to solve them, so as to promote the reformation or M.E. education in China.Through data collection and making questionnaire, the author analyzes the common problems existed in the quality of dissertation for M.E., probes into the causes of these problems, and then puts forward strategies to improve the quality of dissertation for M.E.. This paper is divided into six sections. The first section mainly illustrates the research background, the importance of this paper. It also reviews the previous relevant research. The second section expounds the meaning of the quality of dissertation for master degree by providing definitions of quality. Meanwhile, this section also analyzes the standards for quality of dissertation for M.E.. The third section introduces the research methods, the purpose and the object of this research. The fourth section analyzes and summarized the sources of the existed problems. The fifth section analyzes reasons for influencing the quality of dissertation for M.E.. The last section mainly expresses strategies which could enhance the quality of dissertation for M.E., such as, how to improve the quality of students, how to improve the quality of tutoring by professors, how to strengthen the construction of style of study and how to consummate the mechanism for dissertation audition, etc.
