| At the moment,the international competition is more and more intense.Due to globalization,there is a high demand for talents with rich technological knowledge and innovation ability,and postgraduate education is an important reserve force for producing qualified scientists and technicians in the society.Its development must be fierce.In pace of the diversified and open development of post-graduate education,the educational quality has become the focal point of development.Dissertation is a display of graduate academic achievements,which is very important to the quality of postgraduate education.Therefore,exploring the quality of dissertation and proposing quality assurance countermeasures can not only provide a reference for graduate students to write thesis,but also point out the direction for the quality training of postgraduate education.This paper takes the review information of Chinese master’s degree dissertation sampling as the research object.First,by reading domestic and foreign literature materials,we need make sense of arrangement and summary of the current research directions,methods and achievements related to the quality of the article,and defining research theme of the article.The specific work is as follows:(1)Obtain the review information of 1246 master’s degree dissertation sampled by the Department of education of a province in China in 2020 and 2019.Each paper is reviewed by three experts,and here are total 3738 review information.In this paper,the topic distribution of the comment text is explored: the first is data preprocessing,and then two methods of perplexity index and LDA topic modeling visualization are used to determine the number of topics,set the model parameters,and obtain the topic clustering results after model training.Combined with the analysis of the visualization results : the reviewers’ attention to master’s thesis mainly focuses on four aspects: the standardization of the thesis,the conclusion and summary,the topic selection and review,and the research design and innovation.Then,according to the probability distribution of “document-topic”,this paper analyzes the evaluation preference of reviewers for papers: reviewers focus on commenting on the standardization of papers,which reflects that the standardization of dissertations is significant,which is the primary aspect that needs to be paid attention to in the research of paper quality;The second is the topic selection,conclusion and summary of the paper.They are also of great importance in the paper and need to be paid more attention to;Finally,the proportion of design problems in the paper is not high,and experts pay relatively little attention.(2)288 excellent master’s degree dissertation and 72 questionable master’s degree dissertation were obtained from the sampled papers according to the evaluation standard of the thesis grading level,and their review information was studied.The NVivo11.0 software is used to encode the text respectively,to display the review information in a quantitative way,and to summarize the typical characteristics of excellent papers and problem papers.According to the text coding results,it is analyzed from four aspects: excellent papers have common characteristics such as complete paper design,reasonable topic selection,and practical significance;problem papers are mainly manifested in outdated topics and large scope of topics,and untrue conclusions and summaries,and the article design structure is unreasonable and so on;whether it is an excellent paper or a problem paper,both of them have problems such as irregular format and irregular writing expression.(3)Based on the analysis of the typical characteristics and forms of expression in the above dissertation,this paper summarizes the prominent problems existing in the dissertation,and puts forward the following four suggestions in combination with the reality: setting up a standardized dissertation writing course,strengthening scientific research training,strictly controlling the topic selection of the dissertation and encouraging the development of innovative spirit,so as to promote the development of the quality of graduate education. |
