At the beginning of 2007, the English textbook of Senior High School has changed from the book published by the People's Education Press (PEP) to the one published by Foreign Language Education Press, because of curriculum reform in Heilongjiang Province. The English teaching based on the new teaching material makes less time left, in which a teacher must complete the teaching task of two English books viz. two modules. From the reality of Senior High School English teaching that inappropriate test method is used in Everyday Test of Senior English, the author proposes a hypothesis that improving the Everyday Test method of Senior English can have a positive impact of test result. In this paper, author is usually to seek scientific testing methods. By the study of two parallel class (respectively, for the experimental classes and controlled classes), the controlled class is to continue unit testing, while the experimental class is to change the traditional unit testing to a new method, which commit a test in the aspects of grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, cloze, hearing and writing tests. At the same time, author makes it adapt to "high effective class" and evaluation of incentive test as aid. These steps enrich the testing method of listening, speaking, reading, writing and translation in the emotional and rational aspects, which have a positive impact on students. And the students adapt and accept the testing method of this model. After a certain time, in a large-scale examination, statistical analysis of the scores of the two classes obviously shows that the scores of the experimental classes are much higher than the controlled class. Analysis and experiment carried out in ths paper can make English teachers know the errors out of the unit testing and grasp the characteristics of English tests. This helps the English teachers carry out a scientific test to improve the efficiency of English examination. This article is divided into five parts. The first part is about teaching practice, and introduces a question: to improve the testing methods normally will increase the efficiency of test results. The second part contains literature review about testing the theory of language knowledge, and gives a concentration that finding out a positive teaching method. The third part is about the experimental study, comparing two different methods in test the results of two parallel classes. In the fourth part, the author gives the qualitative and quantitative analysis to the experimental results. In the Part five, author concludes how to set the aspect of the grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, cloze, hearing, oral and writing in English tests.
