With the technological development and social progress, mathematics has been used more and more widely."The standards of Mathematics Curriculum for senior High School(Experimental Version)"also made it clear that mathematics courses required of infiltrating the idea of mathematical exploring and modeling in various modules and topics. This paper focuses on a comparative analysis that whether students can or how they use mathematical modeling idea to think, to identify and to solve problems when they face a scenario in their daily life, so as to know their specific performance and level of their mathematical modeling ability. This study is concerning about the high school students'difficulties and causes in the process of mathematical modeling, and giving appropriate countermeasures to these difficulties. It gives reference for teachers'effective teaching. Test questions are adapted from"The Comparative Analysis of the Mathematical Modeling Capacity Betwen Chinese and German students, take students from Shanghai and Baden-Württemberg as an example",which is written by Xu Bin yan. The text objects are from Grade One to Three in senior high schools, 318 students in total. Investigate the mathematical modeling level of senior high school students through work analysis method. Excel and Spass software are mainly used to do the statistical analysis. And then, the statistical analysis are taken on each of the mathematical modeling level according to the student answers.Summarize the problems and obstacles in the process of mathematical modeling, and the corresponding teaching advice is proposed. On the basis of the study, we can conclude that:1. Senior high school students'mathematical modeling level is generally low, and their sense of mathematical modeling is weak. However, the overall trend of senior high school students'mathematical modeling level is rising, Grade One and Two are the improvement period of the mathematical modeling among senior high school students. Grade Two and Three are the stable period of the mathematical modeling among senior high school students. and the modeling results will be improved greatly by mathematical modeling training.2. In the mathematical modeling process, students have difficulties in establishing mathematical models, as well as changing models into problems. Students'ability of mathematical symbolic representation is relatively weak, while in solving mathematical problems, students are not good at mathematical calculating and proving, and they lack the skills of mathematical calculating.3. There are no significant differences between boys and girls in the level of modeling.According to the conclusions of this study, some suggestions for senior high school teachers are given at the end of this thesis.
