Nowadays,information and technology are developing rapidly,and mathematical modeling is getting more and more attention.In 2017,the Ministry of Education of China issued the "Standards for Senior High School Mathematics Curriculum(2017 Edition)"(hereinafter referred to as "Course Standards(2017)"),and proposed the six core literacy of mathematics,namely mathematical abstraction,logical reasoning,mathematical modeling,intuitive imaging,mathematical operations and data analysis.The education reform at each stage is to adapt to the current society.It is designed to allow students to apply mathematics after learning mathematics,to observe the world with a mathematical perspective,to think about the world with mathematical thinking,and to express the world in mathematical language.The so-called mathematical language is the mathematical modeling.This work will select "mathematical modeling" to investigate the current situation of high school students.This paper analyzes and studies the literatures on mathematical modeling at home and abroad,and based on the level of mathematical modeling literacy in the Course Standards(2017),compiles the high school students mathematical modeling literacy level test volume,after many predictions and discussed with the frontline teachers,and finally forms a positive test volume to investigate the status of high school students' mathematical modeling literacy level.The subjects of the test volume were selected from the first and third grades in the three high schools of Shijiazhuang.Referring to the coding standard of SOLO test questions,SPSS was used to analyze the data,and the mathematics modeling literacy status of high school students and related conclusions were obtained:(1)High school students' mathematical modeling literacy level is low,and the average level is at level one;(2)There are significant differences in mathematics modeling literacy levels among students in different grades in high school,and the average level of mathematical modeling of high school students in third grade is higher than that of senior high school students in first grade;(3)There are significant differences in the mathematical modeling literacy level of different schools,the mathematicsmodeling literacy level of key middle schools is higher than that of ordinary middle schools;(4)There is no significant difference in the mathematical modeling literacy level between boys and girls.However,the mathematics modeling literacy level of boys is slightly higher than that of girls;(5)Mathematical modeling courses are slow in high school,and teachers' emphasis on mathematical modeling needs to be improved.Based on the above research results,the following suggestions are proposed for teachers:(1)Creating mathematical problem situations and attaching importance to the cultivation of mathematical modeling consciousness.(2)Participate in the professional training of mathematical modeling to improve the mathematical modeling ability of teachers.(3)Using existing teaching resources to teach and develop mathematical modeling materials.(4)Training students to analysis problems from multiple angles and carry out mathematical modeling activities.(5)Overall grasp the six core literacy and improve the level of mathematical modeling literacy.
