The Research On The Issue Regarding On Professional Of Basketball Coach In China Basketball Association

Through documentary reference, interview, questionnaire, mathematical statistics and logical analysis, this paper investigates and analyses six factors concerning CBA referee professionalization. The six factors are league market, social security, project development, management system, self-development and echelon construction respectively. And with successful experience abroad borrowed, some conclusions are drawn on the issue of CBA referee professionalization.Firstly, referee professionalization requires social support and the improving league market provides a favorable environment for it.Secondly, existing problems in referee authorities, system of awards and penalties and system of supervision hinder the pace of CBA referee professionalization.Thirdly, the referee level plays the dominant role in referee professionalization." However, Chinese referees do not rank a high level since most of them lack experience in big events.Fourthly, rise in quantity and quality of referee reserve talents is the base of referee professionalization. Hence, the training of the grass-root referees in their professional technical quality and moral fiber is necessary.With the problems above, four suggestions are made.Firstly, communication range should be expanded. The NBA philosophy and its marketing strategy should be borrowed and be combined with Chinese league development.Secondly, a double track system for professional and non-professional referees should be established, which is a transition for professional referee system.Thirdly, referees should master English, especially oral English to have a better communication with the world. And referees should train themselves in big events as often as possible.Fourthly, basketball referee major should be set up in PE colleges to help to lay a solid theoretical basis and develop practical ability in cultivating professional referees.
