As a study mode of deep knowledge constructing, research learning has become more internationally prevalent for teaching and studying. In a broad sense, research learning refers to students' initiative probing study activities. It is the sort of teaching and learning concept, strategy and method, which stresses learners' innovative and practicing capabilities. This core idea of research learning, complies with not only the current curricular reform goals in elementary education, but also the goals to cultivate senior capable talents with innovation and practice capabilities from higher education. Nowadays, China's studying on research learning also embarks on developing research learning in colleges and universities besides focusing on research of teaching reform in elementary education. Against the background of campus informationalization, with the continuous deepening of networking teaching and online studying, research learning in the network environment starts to draw people's attention. How to create a space of research studying for students in network environment has been one of the most significant issues addressed by many educators and technology developers.On the other hand, as a member of Web2.0, Wiki provides an open collaboration platform for users' online learning. At the moment, Wiki's application is still at the primary stage in home and abroad. Wiki is characterized by its openness, collaboration/cooperativeness, sharing and co-creativeness. It offers for the research studying of learners with an effective platform support. Wiki enables students to start from the appointed research topic and conduct an initiative probing study, as well as collaborate and communicate with each other to make the study deeper. Wiki is a perfect representative of the spirit to cooperate in research and study during interaction and discussion.This thesis aims to discuss the feasibility of Wiki's application in research learning. It elaborates from theories and practices on how to utilize the platform of Wiki to facilitate research learning. The author starts from the status of research learning on campus, and combines the advantages of Wiki platform to talk about the feasibility of applying Wiki to research learning. The author analyzes the factors of research learning in network environment, and borrows the experiences of conducting various learning styles such as collaborative/cooperative study, issue-based study and comprehensive study, i.e. proposes the research learning mode--Wiki-RES, the application mode of structuring "research learning platform +module" based on application demands. Moreover, the author preliminarily evaluates the effectiveness of the system and discusses the issues on building the learning resources database, the structuring of effective research learning and scientific research modes, as well as the management of research activities. The author hopes this to be a meaningful exploration.
