With the development of information society, new requirements are put forwardby the time on talents training. The abilities to learn lifelong, communicate andcooperate with others have become necessary for the development of future society.At thesametime,cooperativelearningis advocatedas oneofthethreemajorlearningmethods inthenewcurriculum reform onbasic education,whichputs an emphasis oncultivation of students'cooperative awareness and cooperative ability. Our countryadvocates pushing forward the popular application of information technology in theteachingprocess and promotingthe integration of information technologyand subjectcurriculum, to realize the reform of displaying methods of the teaching contents,student's learning methods, teacher's teaching methods and the interaction betweenteachers and students step by step. To fully take the advantages of informationtechnologyandprovidingaversatileeducationenvironmentandastronglearningtoolfor students'learning and development. The rapid development of informationtechnology provides a good network environment for training talents needed by theinformationage.As one of the newly emerging social software of information society, Wiki is akind of hypertext system which supports the community-oriented cooperation andprovides a good cooperative platform for developing cooperative learning. wiki canscan, create and alter text, what it reflects is cooperative spirit and has goodcooperative interaction. It is being introduced to education and teaching by manyresearchers, and providing a good cooperative platform for training students withcooperative and lifelong study abilities. This study, with information technology asteaching practice, designs the learning plan based on integration between wikitechnology and the cooperative learning theory. After about four months'research onwiki platform, this thesis concludes the advantages of wiki in middle schoolscooperative learning and designs the cooperative learning mode in middle schoolsbasedonwiki.Thisstudyisdividedintosixparts:The first part describes the research background, objective and significance, as wellastheresearchstatus,ideasandmethods.The second part puts forward the cooperative learning based on wiki throughdeterminationsonrelativeconcepts,andanalyzesitstheoreticalbasis.The third part describes the technical features of wiki, briefly introduces itsapplication in the education process, and analyzes the feasibility of wiki incooperativelearninginmiddleschools.The fourth part designs the plan of cooperative learning in middle schools basedonwiki.The fifth part continuously adjusts and modifies the cooperative learning activitythrough two researches on selected learning platforms, develops questionnaire surveyamong students being studied. After collection and analysis of data, the conclusionwasdrawn.The sixth part comes up with suitable cooperative learning modes in middleschoolsbasedonwikiandputsforwardfurtherresearchworktodointhefuture.
