Cheerleading was introduced to col lege students in China in 2000 by the Aerobics Rhthmic Gymnastics Association]. The fast-paced energetic movements of cheerleading dances were quick to attract student interest in the sport, and it soon became one of the highlights of college sporting culture. While popular at certain universities, cheerleading is still relatively unknown throughout the country as a whole, though in Southern China it is a rising star amongst collegiate athletes.In Beijing, cheerleading only started to attract attention and support in preparation of the 2008 Olympic Games. Feeling that cheerleading is an integral part of the festivities of Olympics, many universities created special temporary courses to train cheerleading teams. However, once the Olympics were over, the lack of proper training and support for cheerleading as a sport remains a problem.In this paper, we study the coaches and the players of cheerleading in Beijing's universities Through literature, questionnaire, expert interviews and mathematical statistics and logical analysis method,. We analysis the four aspects of the situation: parade athletes, coaches, training status, race management and organization . Investigation and analysis on the Beijing Sports College cheerleading carried out by the status quo as well as problems that exist in a more comprehensive understanding and analysis, for cheerleading at colleges and universities in Beijing Sport education reform under the new environment faster and more Healthy development of a reasonable proposal and put forward on this basis at the Beijing Sports College cheerleading development appropriate measure.And the results are as follow:(1) Cheerleading in universities of Beijing is still in its initial stage. A small number of carry out the sports and it's imbalance between the colleges .(2) Because of the lack of support of the leaders in the universities. Cheerleading is short of material security.(3) younger coaches speaking, a reasonable ratio of men to women, but they have not received professional training, and lack of experience in technology and led.(4) The overall quality of players is not high, and they can not understanding the project very well.(5) The training of cheerleading has no systematic with poor physical condition o, and the training time can not be assured.(6) Currently, Beijing has not competition for cheerleading.(7) The scientific research of cheerleading is still in its initial stage.
