It has been 21 century.Increasing social and psychological stimulate make people a great stress.Many studies show that working staffs stress has negative influence on their physical-mental health and working efficiency.Teachers' work stress that is regarded as one of the core subjects of studies on teachers and on stress has interested many psychologists these days.The purpose of this study is to explore the situation of teachers'job stress,social support and job performance;to explore the impact of different demographic variables on teachers'job stress,social support and job performance;to explore the relationship among the three.By selecting 560 representative members working in Shandong province,the author collected the data by questionnaires,and then analyzed the data with SPSS13.0 and LISREL8.7 statistical software package for descriptive statistics,comparing means,correlation analysis, step regression analysis and mediating effect analysis.The results are as follows:1.The survey demonstrated that the teachers'job stress is higher than average level,with highest pressure from the working load andexamination stress;2.Demographic variables have significant differences in the job stress,social support and job performance of middle school teachers;3.There is a significant negative correlation betweem job stress and social support of middle school teachers;4.There is a significant positive correlation betweem job stress and job performance of middle school teachers;5.There is a significant positive correlation betweem social support and job performance of middle school teachers;6.Some aspects of job stress and social support can be predictors of the job performance;7.Social support has some mediating effect between job stress and job performance.Through this research,we can have a better understanding of the middle school teachers' work stress situation,and provide a basis for their stress management in a targeted manner.In that case,the thesis can help the middle school teachers' work stress maintain at a fine level and improve their physical and mental health and improve their work performance.
