As the results of several researches in and abroad that teacher is an occupation with high working stress, and needs to take effective measures to alleviate teacher's occupational pressure. Correlation studies indicate that social support is an effective measure for alleviating teacher's occupational pressure, but there is almost no research of preschool teacher's occupation pressure.In the view, this paper studied Shanghai preschool teacher's occupation pressure with research methods for library, interview and questionnaire, such as Shanghai preschool teacher's occupation pressure and social support level, and the effect of social support to occupation pressure.The results of this paper are: (1) Shanghai preschool teacher are under high occupational pressure, the main sources of preschool teachers occupational pressure are working load, the working style of preschool headmaster, personal relationship and children. As in the view of school age, preschool teacher with a school age of 7-18 years are under the highest occupation pressure, and in the view of age, preschool teacher aged between 41 and 50 are under the highest occupational pressure. (2) Shanghai preschool teacher's social support is in the normal range, it is according with normal distribution. As in the view of school age, preschool teacher with school age of 0-1 years acquire the least social support, preschool teacher with school age of 7-18 years acquire the most social support; and as in the view of age, preschool teacher aged from 31 to 40 acquire the highest social support, the next are aged from 41 to 50 and the preschool teachers older than 50, and the preschool teacher younger than 30 acquire the least social support. (3) The increasing of preschool teacher's social support level is propitious to alleviating occupational pressure, and this result validated the main effect model of social support.
