Through the reform of the education for years,the chemical experiment teaching in compulsory education stage has been more improved which comparing with the past.But for a long period of time,the chemical teachers are deeply affected by the traditional sense of education and teaching,and many problems are still exiting in the chemical experiment in compulsory education stage.The teaching functions of chemical experiment haven't been given full scope.Determining this topic and teaching practice and research are the development of the times in order to conform to the needs and the needs of the new curriculum reform.In order to comprehensive improve the scientific literacy of students,we need give full play the main role of students in the learning process,and enable students to actively participate in classroom teaching and learning process,and sufficiently stimulate interest in learning, besides,enhance the practical ability of students,and encourage students to take the initiative to study,then gradually learn to explore.Concurrently,give better play to the educational value of the chemical experiment's moral and non-intelligence aspects of the quality of culture.So enable students to coordinated develop the intelligence and personality.This study may also provide some reference to chemistry teachers for the general first-line teaching,scientific research.After the preface this article analyzes the experimental characteristics in the textbooks.Then the author has the experiments in the PEP experimental textbook(the upper and lower volumes) summarized According to the order of sections.Afterwards in accordance with the "Basic Operation Experiment","Experimental verification," "Inquiry Experiment" and "home experiment" I have conducted a classification and statistics Of these experiments.Then reveals that the new textbooks to a large extent reflect the new curriculum ideas of "To improve the scientific literacy of students as a keynote" and "attention from the students have experience,so that they live in a familiar scenario feel the importance of chemistry",and "so that students have more opportunities to take the initiative to explore the experience of process,in the knowledge formation of contact,the application process to develop a scientific attitude,access to scientific method ".Then I conducted a further analysis for the chemical experiment teaching function in the stage of compulsory education. Discussed the teaching of chemistry experiments function from the chemical experiment to "stimulate students' interest in learning","promote student to change the way of studying" "is an important way to develop the students' scientific inquiry ability" of the three aspects.Discussed the epistemological function of chemistry experiment from "Chemical experiment is an important way to proposed chemical problem" and "Provide students studying chemistry with the chemical facts". Discusses the chemical experiment' function of the methodology.Discusses the chemical experiments' moral and aesthetic function.Next presents the questionnaire surveys and interviews of chemical teachers and students at the stage of compulsory education,and summarizes the chemical experiment teaching and the teaching function of the experimental situation.Through the questionnaire method,the experience in law,analysis,summary of teaching cases,furthermore reflection and further practice in teaching.Then combination of teaching cases put forward countermeasures about exerting effective function of the chemical experiment teaching.Finally come to the conclusion.In order to conform to the needs of the development time and the needs of the new curriculum reform we must exert their own advantages of Chemistry,and our attention should be paid to the chemical experiment teaching at the stage of compulsory education.We should be taking a number of measures,such as change ideas,cultivate the ability of students to explore; Guide students in independent study,and take the initiative to explore;Stimulate students' problem awareness;Based on student interest contact the actual livelihood; Pay attention to home chemistry experiment;Permeate the scientific method of education,etc.So that we can give full play to the chemical experiment's teaching function.Focus on abilities,so enable every student to obtain the greatest possible development.We should cultivate the scientific literacy of the future citizens from the "knowledge and skills","Process and Method," "Emotional attitudes and values" three dimensions.
