Resolving the chemistry exercises is the significant segments of students' chemistry leaning. It is also one of significant methods of accelerating and evaluating students' chemistry leaning. Completing the chemistry exercises will be helpful for students to master knowledge and skill, experience procedures and ways and establish sensibility and attitude law of value.The thesis starts with the analysis of current situation of chemistry exercises at the phase of compulsory education and proceeds from education theory that "all is for the students' development". In the research, we use literature, investigation, interview, and so on. Up to now, we have done some employment on the subject of "Studying on chemistry exercises at the phase of compulsory education". The preliminary achievement has obtained in research as followed:First, the research has found that there are some characters for the existing chemistry exercises. Their function is simplex. Their content is dated and professional. The solution of the exercises is single. These conclusions are educed by analyzing three editions of chemistry textbook, chemistry test questions and all kinds of materials which tutor students' chemistry learning. We discover that we should have new understanding about the function of chemistry exercises at the phase of compulsory education.Second, according to the character of the students and the course goals, which are decided by standard of curriculum, the thesis figures out that the chemistry exercises will be acting in improving students' interest, consolidating and applying knowledge, experiencing the process of exploring science, building up elementary viewpoint and evaluating their chemistry learning, and so on.Third, according to the process of compiling the exercises, we find out that it is necessary to follow the principle of basal, scientific, usable, exoteric and active. In order to play the role better, we should increase exoteric, active and experimental chemistry exercises properly.Fourth, the research of the chemistry exercises at the phase of compulsory education is a system engineering. And it is a long-term employment. So we had better be concerned with it and make some efforts. About how to arouse the enthusiasm of student's chemistry learning, to enhance the students' ability of solving problems and to improve learning efficiency needs to be worth studying further.
