This paper consists of introduction, body and conclusion. In the introduction, the necessity of carrying out creativity education is stated from the aspects of the demands of konowledge economy for education, the damands of education reform and the changes of the idea of talented person. The body is made up of two parts. Firstly, the paper states domestic and foreign overview of innovative thingking, analysises the achievement that have obtained and deficiency of being existed; secondly, the paper states the connotations, characteristics, types and existing obstacles; At last, the paper states theoretical basis of training innovative thingking, it is believed possible to carry on creativity education in chemistry teaching in middle school. In the second part, teaching methods and abilities that the teachers should have are suggested to cultivating innovative thingking of students in chemistry in high school, based on questionnaire of teachers, the theories of creativity and creativity education. Finally, in the conclusion part, the paper points out the problems that remain to be further research on as well as the research direction.
