In recent years, more and more scholars are beginning to do educational research in rural areas, focusing on connotation development from extension development about the rural schools, exploring internal power which can improve education quality and promote the sustainable development of the schools, and digging the internal power for rural school development accordingly. In view of this, this study chooses the internal evaluation of schools as the breakthrough point, selects the senior schools in rural areas which are playing an important role in the entire educational system of our country as the research objects, uses literature method, survey method, case analysis method and so on, and conducts a deep analysis at both levels of theory and practice about the internal evaluation of the senior high schools in rural areas.This thesis starts with the definition of "general senior high schools in rural areas", and explain "internal evaluation of school" and its meaning in detail. Some problems exists in the internal evaluation concept, evaluation standard, evaluation implementation, evaluation feedback and evaluation motivity which are based on the investigation of eight senior high schools in Henan rural areas and the existing literature. The reason is the impact of the instrument ideology, the evaluation standard of borrowed method, lackage of organizational factors and cooperation culture and so on. On this basis, this study insists on the developing evaluation, allowing for the characteristics of the senior high schools in rural areas, and tries to build the theoretical system of internal evaluation about senior high schools in rural areas from the aspects of evaluation principles, evaluation index and evaluation subjects. And to elaborate the two aspects of the operating mechanism of internal evaluation: the manners of internal evaluation and the operating procedures of internal evaluation. Finally, this article selects A School as the analysis case. After a brief introduction to A school's background and practical experience of the internal evaluation with material evidence, the thesis analyzes the two aspects of A school's internal evaluation: the successful aspect and the failure aspect, all of which lead to further consideration, and a few conclusions to ensure the successful implementation of internal evaluation are summed up as well.Only with the strong support from school leaders for the internal evaluation, the smooth organization and running of the internal evaluation team, the formulation of the related evaluation system assurance, the emphasis of sincere communicating and exchanges among internal evaluation subjects, together with the organic combination of internal and external evaluation, can the internal evaluation of senior high schools in rural areas be able to implement successfully, promoting the sustainable development of the schools.
