Therefore, the concerning of the subject is not only conducive to the stability of the contingent of rural area teachers and improve their working efficiency, but also help improve the quality of teaching in schools so as to promote the harmonious development between schools in urban and rural areas. The research selected three senior middle schools in rural areas of Rizhao, Shandong province as the research case, through individual interview, questionnaire, etc. thoroughly understood the teachers living conditions from different aspects, including the work income, work load and working pressure, teachers' psychological feeling, their self-value pursue and so on, using the phenomenology method. By thorough investigation the author found that the teacher's living conditions in rural areas of Rizhao, which is still a less advanced coastal city, is unoptimistic. For example, their income is low, their operating time is much too long and the work load is heavy. What's more, they also face various pressures in the work. These pressures come from the school's appraisal system, student management, students' parents as well as the stresses coming from themselves. Many teachers thought they couldn't realize their own value in the schools, therefore their satisfaction and the sense of belonging to the schools are very weak. The present life situation has initiated a series of adverse consequences, including the drops of teacher's healthiness and appearance of the psychological problems, both of which undermine the teachers' teaching quality; the officialdom standard and the formalism appraisal system of examining and assessment dampened teacher's work enthusiasm seriously; the imbalance between payments and gains causes some effective teachers to flow out; all the above facts resulted in the teacher community's occupation burnout and ultimately the seeking of paid family education for more money. The research further analyzed the reasons of all the above phenomenon, based on which the author argues that the low investment on education influenced by the backward ideas, the excessively higher expectation of the society to teachers and the intern problems of education system such as the laggard management system, the characteristics of education occupation itself and so on are the main causes. Then the author has carried on corresponding reconsidering from the aspect of the society, the school as well as the teacher individuals to improve the living conditions. For instance, Speed up the integration construction between the city and countryside, concern more about the teachers from rural areas with policy incline, manage the school with human-centered thinking. In addition, the teacher should improve themselves continuously.By reflecting the senior middle school teachers living conditions in rural areas, the research wants to advocate the society and educational institutions to take some measures to promote the quality of these teachers' living state. The study has an academic meaning that it can enrich the theory on teachers and provide a reference for researches on teachers' living conditions of rural areas, optimize the group of teachers, enhance the efficiency of rural middle schools and the quality of teaching there. Furthermore, the relevant departments may formulate relevant policies according to it as well. In addition, the research also has a practical meaning on how to improve the living conditions of teachers in rural areas of Rizhao and places similar with it so as that the government should put more concerns on their own needs of these teachers and the teachers daily life at school.
