Although the topic on the esthetic education is a comparatively traditional one,it does not mean that all research has been done.In fact,the esthetic education,which is closely related to chinese teaching in middle schools,has been playing a less and less important role.Under the pressure of the examinations,the relationship between education and teaching tends to be neglectde,which is not consistent with the education ideal for its lack of good assessment.Actually,it is not easy to let students appreciate the beauty in the teaching.Focused on the theory fo esthetic education practice and its components containing teachers,textbooks,students and teaching resources etc,this paper puts forward some practical ways to achieve break throughs in the esthetic education in ancient chinese poems and essays in middle schools.It also aims at developing both the teachers'and the students'esthetic sense under the guidance of teaching chinese with esthetic skills.Only in this way can the practice of chinese teaching be more closely linked to esthetic education.
