As the development of modern communication technology and computer network, the modern distance education becomes a kind of important education form on the modern society day by day.However, it`s not really ideal that the actual effect of learners study on the network.The investigation that"the factor influences network study effect"launched by Tsinghua university indicates:"interaction"is arranged the first place that affecting and restricting the quality of learner to study in various factors[1]. The reason that creates this kind of phenomenon is various, the objective reason is interaction occupying the extremely important status in the network education, but the factor that influenting and restricting interaction in network environment is complicated. The subjective reason mainly is people's understanding about interaction under network environment is insufficient;in addition they have not carried on reasonable network interaction design. Therefore, if want to improve the quality of teaching, enhance the study effect of learner, needs to carry on a deeper level analysis about education interaction in the network environment, and carry on reasonable design in this foundation.This article takes the strategy of interaction design as goal, and launches comprehensively research and the elaboration to the modern distance education interaction. In the foundation of theory discussion, carries on the statistics and investigation to some domestic available outstanding network curriculum, part of well-known education website and part of the topic study website.Has discussed the factor interactive people,interactive content and interactive way that influencing and restricting network teaching interactive quality and level, provides the theory basis for inspecting the present situation of network teaching interaction, analyzing the process and law of education interaction thoroughly, then finding the effective strategy that evaluate and improve network teaching design and teaching level. On this foundation, takes the theory that distance interactive classifies as the basis, proposes the the principle and concrete strategy of design that interactive design of modern distance education should follow. And designs motion appraisal index in the distance education which may be operated, makes attempt at solving the problem which the interaction is insufficient in the distance education by interactive design.
