The Design And Implementation Of The Distance Education Teaching System

With the rapid development of computer digital technology and network technology,distance education has entered a new stage which is characterized by personalization,intelligentization and digitalization,which has become an important part of educational information construction.Streaming media technology has become one of the most important technologies in distance education.Through the form of video teaching it can achieve the effect of a similar face of teaching and learning between teachers and students.What's more,it enhances learners' initiative and the controllability of audio/video resources,which can meet the needs of the learners.Based on the characteristics of Web teaching,this paper discusses the use of the traditional streaming media technology and protocol.And it elaborates function framework and technical architecture of remote interactive video teaching system which based on FMS(Flash Media Server).This design not only use the Flash Media Server service also apply advanced modern network to solve the problem of real-time video transmission,such as Web service,Flash Remoting technology.so as to make a detailed description and analysis for user login module,real-time voice and video teaching module in audio/video broadcast,students-speaking,courseware inserted,teaching module in the electronic whiteboard,text communication,teacher privileges and other functions.At the same time,it puts forward reasonable solution.After repeated analysis and design of each function module,it gives the relevant procedures at the core of the code and describes the function model of these modules,conducted a series of tests in the end and achieved a good result.The realization of these functions to build the interactive teaching system which based on FMS,provides theory and technology supporting.In order to solve the technical problems of network education,it provides a low cost,high efficiency and high quality solutions.It is the meaning of this design that makes the new theoretical knowledge and new technology into the actual project.It provides a new direction of development for online auxiliary teaching mode,through the online auxiliary teaching system analysis,design and research,which gives great significance for the new teaching system in the future and the problem of remote video transmission in the process of teaching.
