The Explanation And Research Of Curriculum Idea In New Teaching Materials

The eighth basic education curriculum reform of our country officially started at the turn of the century. In April 2003 the Ministry of Education promulgated the Standard of chemistry Curriculum in high school (experiment). Referred to the Standard of chemistry Curriculum in high School (experiment), textbooks of three editions have appeared. They are separately published by People's Education Press and Jiangsu Education Press and Shandong Science and Technology Press. Until now we started our new round of chemistry curriculum reform in high school.The new idea of the senior school chemistry curriculum reform is reviving Chinese nation and developing each student. In view of this idea, the high school chemistry curriculum reform advanced eight basic ideas which mainly included several essential factors. They are paying more attention to the students' comprehensive and individual and perpetual development, emphasizing student's autonomy and independency, giving emphasis to students'life experiences, promoting the students to transform the way of study and advocating using more way to estimate students. Teaching materials are the carrier of the curriculum and the key question of the reform. The writer compared new teaching materials with old teaching materials, compared the standard of curriculum with the syllabus, compared the new textbooks with the old textbooks to discuss how the new teaching materials embody the new idea of the senior school chemistry curriculum reform through the aspects of curriculum structure, curriculum nature, curriculum goal, content standard and curriculum suggestion, to discuss how the textbook embody the new idea of the senior school chemistry curriculum reform through the aspects of the choice of content, the organization of content, the establishment of column and illustration,the research of science and the infiltration of STS education.
