Socialization indicates that, during the interactive motion of the society, the individual develops self notion and the role of society, masters the various technical abilities, the behavior regulations, the values of their own society, obtains the membership demanded by that society. At the same time, it is a process of forming and perfecting self and individuality, that is to say, it is a course in which the natural man of organism changes into a social person, and in which it unceasingly debugs and consults the role. Teacher's socialization refers that the teacher understands accepts and adapts the role given by society during the interactive motion of the society, and bargains on and creates the teacher role, constantly develops self and digs his potential in order to promote this lifelong process in which teacher's major develops.The Teacher's Socialization is the result of a teacher and the society's reciprocity, we can not deny the society's effect and also need to emphasize the individual's particular activity. The study of Teacher's Socialization is very important to the education reform and the teacher's development.All the relevant researches on Teacher's Socialization mainly start from the angle of view of Structuralism and Functionality,which have certain defects. Structuralism emphasizes the whole characteristic of social relations,and decentring of the Subject. It considers that the subject does not have any privilege in society theory.Functionalism analogizes society with organism, considers it as a system of self-occluded, self-stabilized and self-balanced. Compared with purpose of actor of human being, the purpose of social system is put on the first position, the former only is looked upon as the people's psychological embodiment of the latter. Structuralism and Functionalism both place social structure or society system on the first position, and look upon the individual as inactive accommodator of structure or system. The following Interpretative Sociologies gives the subject an important position,draws attention to the action of human being and the practical consciousness and emphasizes a profound truth contained in subtle words by studying the labors' trivial daily life,but it excessively emphasizes the opposability between the subject and the object,having ignored the significance of the object.Giddens' Structuration Theory has provided new thought for our research. The core viewpoint of Structuration Theory is the duality of structure.The duality of structure no longer views the relations between subject and object, individual and society, action and structure as those that mutually repulse. On the contrary, They are bound together organically by actors' daily behavior. One of the purposes of the Structuration Theory is to get through the dualism chronically governing the study of sociology, guide the researcher to correctly know the relation between the subject and the object. The viewpoint of Duality of Structure is the trial of anastomosing the opposability relations between the subject and the object, which has an important enlightenment to the research of Teacher's Socialization. This thesis is the trial of studying the Teacher's Socialization by applying Structuration Theory .This thesis consists of five parts.On the introduction of the research cause,the research status, research value, train of thought and research methods, Part One has summarized the theory basis--Structuration Theory, which is used in this thesis to study the Teacher's Socialization, including the background, main content and significance. Part Two delaminates the mental structure of the teachers as actors into three levels: practice consciousness, discursive consciousness and unconscious motivation, on the basis of which the three levels of action are brought forward here: rationalization of action,reflexive monitoring of action,process of arousing the motivation. Part Three has analysed qualification of the teacher as the actor-knowledge,it thinks that teachers' knowledge is their "mutual knowledge" used in daily practice. Part Four shows that the teachers expand from themselves to the appearance,and are fixed in certain period, has analysed the mechanism of routinization and regionalization restricting the teachers' action. The fivth part, on the basis of analysis of teachers as actors from the angle of the Structuration Theory,analyses how the teachers'practical action and social structure influence each other, that is to say, from the angle of the Structuration Theory, how the Teacher's Socialization is realized.
