| Based on the growing importance of fitness club membership consultants in the whole process of operation and development.This study's participants are fitness club membership consultants in Beijing.Used literature,questionnaire method,statistics method and interviewing experts to research and analyse membership consultants' professional ethics,knowledge,ability,mental and physical aspect in Beijing.Through this study,I hope to strengthen the management and the quality of training of the membeiship consultants of clubs,in order to build a membership consultant champion team,make out a significant contribution to the club' s sales.Through investigation and study,the conclusions are as follows:1.we conclude that:from gender aspect,membership consultants male-dominated,accounting for 63.5 percent of the total number is much higher than the 36.5 percent of female.From the age distribution,18-20 years old accounted about 15%,21-23 years old accounted for 42%,24-26 years old accounted for 31%,older than 26years old accounted for more than 12%.It can be seen that club consultants are mainly for young people, showed the characteristics of the younger.2.For the professional the consultants have learned that there are many types:Marketing category accounted for 29.50%,economic categories accounted for 15.30%,sports category accounted for 15.30%, others(computer,construction,accountant,legal etc.) accounted for 39.9%,few consultants have undergraduate education(21.86%),while the majority of the consultants only have a junior college education(37.70%) and secondary(28.96%),even Some graduated from high school(11.48%), then they engage in the fitness club.Which shows the practitioners' education is not high in Beijing for the moment,relatively low lever of theoretical knowledge. 3.Membership consultant,membership director and membership of club are all think the four indicators of professional ethics are very important.When said to the membership consultant,they think the consultants' responsibility and professionalism are common and even in a low level.But the attitudes of their faith and the protection of privacy are affirmed.4.In the survey of fitness clubs,it is found that membership consultant command knowledge in a general level,however,membership consultant,membership director and membership of club have the same recognition about the importance of knowledge required to be equipped.So,in the future work,it should strengthen the training of knowledge of membership consultant,making the knowledge system of the consultants of fitness club better and more professional,so that the memberships can enjoy the professional services.5.In all kind of criteria of qualifications,membership director,membership of club are all have acknowledged that the consultants' oral communication skills,interpersonal skills,Kindness and the attitudes of the service are very appropriate,they surely have excellent performance in normal work.But at the same time,they have general and even worse performance in marketing skill,learning ability and creative ability,which need to be improved further through practice.6.The score of every indicators of the consultants' mental quality that membership director and membership have evaluated are common and even in a low level.They hope that the membership consultant can fully understand the importance of mental quality in their own' s work,and pay more attention to it in the future.7.In the investigation of the membership consultant,membership director and membership,all of them are think that good image and good Physique are the basic qualification to reveal their ability in work normally and actively,and none can be removed.Some of the membership directors and membership pointed out that the body need further strengthen and then fit in with the professional characters of this trade.
